Well, I've always wanted to make a fanzine. I've actually made quite a few, too. Somehow they just never made it out of my bedroom, or to the copy machine. I finally found the right thing though, exactly what I needed: a Beatles fanzine.
I've never seen an actual paper Beatles fanzine created by anyone in the scene or anyone under the age of forty, but that doesn't bother me. This is mixing all the things I love -- artwork and writing and DIY and the Beatles -- and that's what really matters.
Basically, ROCK N REVOLUTION is a compliation of different creative pieces and stories based on Beatle's songs and lyrics. They are my interpretations or thoughts on or explanations or just inspirations of the songs. They are short fictional stories, each one named after the song it was inspired by. After each story I included the lyrics, because it just seemed like the thing to do.
This zine was not created to sell or explicate the Beatles.. they had enough of that during Beatlemania. This is just simply works inspired by them. I know not everyone enjoys the Beatles, but I hope that excuse will not keep them from reading or enjoying this zine.
